John Cena is currently savoring his WWE heavyweight title-run though the word out is that it will be a short one. With Cena already accomplishing the feat of equaling Ric Flair’s 16 world titles, it is time to move on and prepare for Wrestlemania 33. The 38-year-old will reportedly be feuding with “The Miz” soon and the match will involve their respective partners, Nikki Bella and Maryse.

The conflict could start as early as the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view which happens this Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. With tall odds, the favorite is said to be Bray Wyatt to set up a clash with Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 33 in April. Somewhere along the way, it looks like Cena and “The Miz” will cross paths inside the structure to spark the storyline, Cageside Seats reported.

If that is how the whole plot will start, where do Nikki Bella and Maryse come in? It could happen outside the chamber or maybe in a different match. Nikki Bella is set to take on Natalya so Maryse could be involved in some capacity. If not at the PPV, it could happen on the WWE SmackDown show following WWE Elimination Chamber.

Assuming that all this gets done, the focus of the mixed tag match seems to be Nikki Bella. The former WWE champion is reportedly wrestling her last match in April due to recurring neck injuries, Wrestling News World reported. Aside from that, there is word that Cena would be proposing marriage to Nikki, an angle being teased by Natalya on her feud with the former Divas Champion.

All of these are speculation, meaning they may or may not be the script intended for John Cena and Nikki Bella. The mixed match could be something with the couple facing the perfect heel duo of The Miz and Maryse.
