2K Sports released patch 1.06, a huge one pegged at 3.8 GB. At that size, most are wondering what changes lie ahead for WWE 2K17, particularly the Hall of Fame showcase which is slowly turning out to be a winner. Headlining the update is a reported OMG moment backed by some other minor customizations.

Cutting it short, patch 1.06 for WWE 2K17 plans to boost the stock of the Hall of Fame DLC. Aside from the expected fixes, legendary WWE characters lead the way such as the iconic Sting. And for those who have followed the “Masked Vigilante” during his WCW and WWE matches, his dreaded finisher is the “Scorpion Deathlock”. It turns out that this is just one of the many finishers that WWE 2K17 players can look forward to, courtesy of The 101.

It would be wise to take note that WWE 2K17 players will need to make sure that they have the Catching Finishers skill equipped to successfully execute the popular finisher from Sting. It may also include some manual effort from gamers as well. It is best used as an aerial counter, a move that ranks along the finishers by Brett Hart and Tyson Kidd. Regardless, being able to do the move should be a treat who know their WWE history well.

Aside from the OMG moment for WWE 2K17, here are also customizations to look forward to. That includes new mini-trons which should give the ‘Create-An-Entrance’ an options more flavor. Customizing how the wrestlers look is also available, particularly dying their hair or beard.

The updates brought in by patch 1.06 for WWE 2K17 for the Hall of Fame DLC should be dandy, adding more spice to WWE 2K17 in-game options. It could be one of the last updates for the add-on with 2K Sports expected to focus on WWE 2K18 soon. For more on the update, the patch notes can be found at the 2K Forums.
