WWE Latest News & Update: Elimination Chamber PPV May Result in Triple Threat Or Fatal Four-Way Card At Wrestlemania 33

John Cena may have duplicated the 16 world titles of WWE legend Ric Flair but his title-run may come to an early end at the next WWE SmackDown pay-per-view, Elimination Chamber. The Cenation leader will defend his title against several competitors, possibly including Bray Wyatt.

Such was suggested by Dave Meltzer, via Wrestling Observer Radio, citing this was the impression being laid out by the WWE. If Bray Wyatt does end up winning it all at the Elimination Chamber, such could possibly set up a tiff with Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 33. For those following the uncanny alliance between “The Viper” and “The Eater of Worlds”, this somehow makes sense.

The participants for the WWE Elimination Chamber PPV which takes place on Feb. 12 include AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, The Miz and Dean Ambrose. Assuming the 38-year-old champion does get through the mix, a possible John Cena vs. Randy Orton card at Wrestlemania 33 lacks a certain flavor that would strike it well with the WWE fans.

The WWE universe has seen this pairing time and again, hinting at a possible title-change coming, Bleacher Report reported. Both have faced each other a total of 75 times already. On the other hand, a Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt match could be the best culminating twist for the unusual pairing. Orton can finally reveal his true colors and take on Wyatt one-on-one. But is this the route that the WWE will really take?

Considering Orton is almost assured of a WWE heavyweight title shot, a Cena loss to Wyatt looms as the most plausible scenario. If not a head-on collision, there is always the multiple wrestler routes like a Triple Threat match or even a Fatal Four-Way. With multiple participants, the odds could (or not) favor Orton – somehow similar to how he won the 2017 Royal Rumble.
