Fans were thrilled that "Rick and Morty" season 3 is going to premiere on January 9 after some fans spotted IMDB posting the date. However, co-creator Justin Roiland announced on Twitter that the upcoming series won't air this month; however, they released footages that will surely heighten fans' excitement.

To the dismay of many fans, "Rick and Morty" season 3 won't air this month despite the speculations circulating the Internet. The rumors started when fans saw IMDB post January 9 as the premiere date, Tripped Media reported. Co-creator Justin Roiland clarified the rumors circulating and took to Twitter to deny the January premiere date. However, the co-creator failed to reveal the exact air date.

While there's no update regarding the "Rick and Morty" season 3 premiere date, spoilers are spilling over the Internet regarding its plot details. The report added that the upcoming season will continue the hilarious adventures of Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty. A barely-finished sneak peek was released on "Development Meeting," an Adult Swim streaming web series that features behind-the-scenes actions of some of the popular creations at the network, Birth Movies Death reported.

The clip lasted for three minutes but it was enough for fans to get riled up for the next season. The "Rick and Morty" season 3 preview saw Rick taking Morty out of school to go jaunting in space, which was supposed to be a short trip but lasted six days. Fans saw Rick and Morty crying after their exhausting battle in space. However, this scene isn't enough for fans and they are hoping that the cliff hanger ending would be resolved in the forthcoming season.

To recall, last season saw Rick defeated and helpless after he turns himself in to the authorities to save his family.
