Popular video game, Gravity Rush is getting its own animation video. Gravity Rush the Animation: Overture is now out and it gives a preview of its sequel.

Gravity Rush the Animation Overture is not necessary to watch before diving in into the sequel, Gravity Rush 2. But it is highly suggested to at least finish the first game before watching. Overture takes place before the events of Gravity Rush 2. In the animation video, fans can see the main characters of the Gravity Rush series, Kat, Raven, and Syd. The anime is produced by Studio Khara, the studio behind Neo Genesis Evangelion. The anime is free so everyone who wants to watch it can watch so.

The anime received both good and bad feedback from its viewers following its release. Since it is a prequel to Gravity Rush 2, there's a chance that the story revealed in the anime might have its part in the game. However, some of the story's events in the anime are too vague. There's no indicator yet whether they would play a role in Gravity Rush 2. But one thing's for sure, the people's reception for Kat, Raven, and Syd are very much positive. The anime featured their characters and what they are as a person.

Gravity Rush 2 demo is currently out in the PSN store. The demo is the same on what Sony showed the fans during E3 and Tokyo Game Show this year. It shows off Kat's character as she battles her way against the Nevi. The first game, Gravity Rush, received a lot of positive feedback from its fans that prompted to have a sequel of the game. However, this will be the first game where it will be released for the Playstation 4, instead of Playstation Vita.

Gravity Rush 2 is scheduled for release on January 20, 2017, for North America. Share your thoughts in the comments section!
