The anticipated sequel to Gravity Rush gets its demo released before Christmas. Gravity Rush 2's demo is available for download in the Playstation Store last December 22.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the demo launch for Gravity Rush 2 will be available for free on the Playstation Store last Thursday. It is the same demo Sony showed during the E3 2016 and the same one showed during the Tokyo Game Show this year. Gravity Rush 2's demo was first released for public in Japan but it is only available for Playstation Plus subscribers.

For Gravity Rush 2, SCEA associate project manager, Nick Accordino said that the demo is sporting two different modes. There will be a mode in the demo for those who are familiar with Kat and her powers. Also, there's a mode for players who are new to Gravity Rush. This might be a good thing because it gives players who are new to the game the option to learn the game as they play along. It also doesn't force veterans who are familiar with Gravity Rush to go through a tutorial since they are more or less familiar with the controls and powers of the protagonist.

In the trailer, players can see the main protagonist, Kat, fighting off the enemies called Nevi. It teased fans of Kat's old powers as well as some of Kat possible new abilities. Both the Luna Mode and Jupiter Mode are Kat's new forms when controlling gravity. These new forms will provide new playthrough styles as well as combat styles.

Gravity Rush is an action adventure game that takes place in a fantasy world. Players can control the protagonist named Kat, a girl who could manipulate the power of gravity. Players can use gravity to navigate their way through the levels of the game. The game was originally supposed to be for the Playstation 3 before it was decided to bring it over to the Playstation Vita instead. It received quite a lot of positive feedback since its release.

Gravity Rush 2 is scheduled for release in Japan on January 19, 2017. Its North American release will be on January 20, 2017. It is also announced that an animated series called Gravity Rush: Overture is scheduled for release on Youtube on December 26.
