Pokemon GO's Christmas-themed event comes unannounced, but people from The Silph Road have uncovered some codes hidden within the Android version of the game. The code indicates that a future event is coming very soon as far as a "Pokemon GO" update.

In the past days, Niantic has made some minor updating to improve Pokemon GO's gameplay and system. This could be part of the surprise Christmas event, BGR reported. Last Halloween and Thanksgiving Day, the AR game joined in the celebration of this national holiday by hosting their players in a virtual celebration.

The Silph Road has been able to decode newly added gifts to make rounds in the app. These gifts are tiered in different colors - from Bronze to Gold and then with Special, Great, Ultra variants, The Silph Road wrote.

The second code cracked showed a metadata attribute called "HasHolidayItems", which might be a description or related to the first code that revealed the newly added gifts.

On the third one, a variant of a shop button has appeared. This suggestively points to some tools and gears at discount or limited "Pokemon GO" collectible items. This is the closest possibility since no other Christmas-themed graphic is detected.

With no other codes left, no additional features may be seen added in the game. In case that there is, a mandatory update through v0.51.0 will definitely happen.

Travelers and fans should wait for further announcement and confirmation from Niantic about this update. Meanwhile, Pikachu received a gear update from the past update which is a possible sign that "Pokemon GO" is preying on gear releases for other Pokemon.

For now, be positive that the truth behind the codes is meant to be the same with the speculation. To know more about "Pokemon GO" update, watch the video below:
