As reported by a Euro Gamer, players in PlayStation 4 Pro may have an edge of advantage over their PS 4 counterparts in Battlefield 1 multiplayer mode. The advantage lies in the enhanced frame rate of the PlayStation 4 Pro which allows for smoother gameplay with quicker response by lowering the latency in the game.

A video on the Battlefield 1 comparative test between a PS4 and PS4 Pro showed that the PS4 Pro console had an advantage of running consistently at 10 to 15 frame per second (fps). Though the improved frame rate shall not affect the game play of average players, it is said to have a significant impact on the winning side for PS4 Pro competitive players in multiplayer mode.

Better resolution in PS4 Pro

The comparative test conducted using two similar Battlefield 1 games showed that other than the enhanced frame rate, there are no other discrepancies have been detected on the two gaming platforms. However, as promised by Sony the resolution of PS4 Pro on 4K TV or HD displays at 1080p is better than on the PS4.

The Euro Gamer and reviewer believes that it is the skill of the player that will determine victody in the game like Battlefield 1 multiplayer mode. The advantage of the Pro console is its stable consistency and smooth responsiveness even when the game is fully loaded with 64 players.
