The finale episode of "The Flash" Season 3 is not that far. In the much-anticipated face-off with Savitar, there may be a possibility of the return of one of the major characters prior to the prophesied demise of Iris West.

"The Flash" Season 3 Spoilers: Return Of A Recurring Villain

Showrunner and producer, Andrew Kreisberg discussed this possibility with an outlet and shared, "We have a couple of recurring villains, one major recurring character [returning]."

Kreisberg's remarks have given birth to several spoilers on who could the character be. Among the contenders, a popular name that came up in those talks was that of Robbie Amell.

Amell had portrayed the role of Ronnie Raymond AKA Firestorm, as well as that of Deathstorm. The latter was his evil counterpart from Earth-Two, Comicbook.com wrote.

However, the possibility of the return of Jay Garrick (John Wesley) in "The Flash" Season 3 finale cannot be ruled out entirely. As the final conflict with Savitar approaches nearer, it has to be seen whether there is a likelihood of the return of both Ronnie Raymond and Jay Garrick. Fans have to wait for some more time to get their answers.

"The Flash" Season 3: Review Of "Duet"

In last week's episode, J'onn J'onzz (David Harewood), a comatose Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), and Mon-El (Chris Wood) met Team Flash. The latter is anxious to know what could be wrong with her.

As everyone gathers, there is a sudden and unexpected visitor in S.T.A.R Labs. Soon, they identify that the stranger, Music Meister (Darren Criss) that put Kara in a coma.

After a short and confused struggle, Music Meistersinger goes ahead to trap The Flash/Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) in the same state as that of Kara. This rare reunion of two individuals with superpowers appears like a musical, wherein the duo finds out that their only way of escape is if they go by the script.

The episode titled "Duet" is regarded as the second biggest crossover, as far as CW's "Arrowverse" is concerned, Entertainment Monthly noted. Many fans are regarding this episode as a beautiful love letter.

Meanwhile, the identity of the character who will return in the finale will be soon known. "The Flash" Season 3 airs at 8 p.m. Tuesdays on the CW.
