'The Flash' Season 3 Mid-Season Premiere: Barry Saves Iris West; Changes Timeline AGAIN In 'Borrowing Problems From The Future'

Update Date: Jan 07, 2017 08:13 PM EST

Barry Allen might be the fastest man alive, but he also happens to be the most stubborn one in the multiverse. The synopsis for "The Flash" Season 3 mid-season premiere suggests that Barry will set out to save Iris so does this mean that the timeline will be changed AGAIN in "Borrowing Problems from the Future"?

It's no secret that Barry Allen's universe revolves around Iris West so it's understandable why he would do anything to keep her safe from Savitar. But is it possible that Barry will once again find a way to change Iris' fate in "Borrowing Problems from the Future"? The synopsis and promo for "The Flash" Season 3 mid-season premiere certainly has people shaking their heads and muttering, "Dammit Barry" all over again.

The synopsis for "Borrowing Problems from the Future" confirms Barry Allen will do (or refuse to do) something in order to ensure Iris West's safety. "The Flash" Season 3 mid-season premiere is also set to bring back Wally West as Kid Flash, who will need to take action while Barry idles over things that could happen. In addition to that, the promo for "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 10 hints on more time-travelling for the Scarlet Speedster.

The trailer for "The Flash" Season 3 mid-season premiere shows Barry Allen enlisting the help of Cisco Ramon so he could use Vibe's powers to save Iris West. Unfortunately, this would confirm that Barry didn't learn anything in the past few episodes and has every intention to do exactly what Jay Garrick told him not to. This could mean that the timeline will once again get altered in "Borrowing Problems from the Future".

Will Barry Allen alter the timeline once again to keep Iris West alive in "The Flash" Season 3 mid-season premiere? "Borrowing Problems from the Future" will air on The CW on January 24.
