Great things are bound to happen in the fourth season of "Black Mirror", especially with Charlie Brooker getting inspiration from real-life stories. The creator of the Netflix series has just teased on the possible plot for a new episode for "Black Mirror" Season 4, and it comes from a news story that was published this week.

People have been hoping for news, ANY news about "Black Mirror" Season 4, and Charlie Brooker seems to be quite adept at teasing on the possibilities of the Netflix series. The show's creator recently tweeted about an amazing news story involving a locked-in patient and his blissfully in-love daughter, stating that everything about it sounds like it was written for the futuristic show. But could this real-life event inspire a future episode for the fourth season of "Black Mirror"?

Charlie Brooker is actually referring to a recently published study that involved four locked-in patients who were able to communicate using a brain-computer interface. The patients, who all suffered from advanced amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and have no control of their bodies, were able to answer basic yes-or-no questions through the technology. According to BBC, one patient had a daughter who asked for his blessing to marry her boyfriend. In a twist that could fit perfectly in "Black Mirror" Season 4, the locked-in dad refused eight times.

So is it possible that Charlie Brooker is planning to turn this awesome story into an episode for "Black Mirror" Season 4? The show creator did not reveal whether it will happen but commented that the news sounded like "'San Junipero' rewritten by Steve Bannon." Although there is a possibility that Brooker will take some inspiration from the tale, there is a possibility that all new episodes for Season 4 are already done.

"Black Mirror" Season 4 has no confirmed air date just yet. Nevertheless, fans are expecting Charlie Brooker's series to return to Netflix this fall.
