"Orange Is The New Black" season 5 continues to fear major deaths after Samira Wiley's unexpected exit from last season. Rumors are rife that Pennsatucky will face a grim fate in Litchfield Penitentiary however, Taryn Manning denied the rumors about her character's fate next season.

"Orange Is The New Black" season 5 was rumored to see the exit of Taryn Manning after an InTouch report suggested that Taryn Manning may be taking some time off from portraying Pennsatacky, ScreenCrush reported. In fact, the report claims that she may even take her career from New York to Los Angeles, just to see some distance from her character. In response, Netflix and Manning herself denied the rumors. Taking to Instagram, she posted a photo and said that she'll never quit the series.

The report has since been taken down and hopefully, the rumor surrounding Taryn Manning should also be put at rest. Netflix hasn't released much about "Orange Is The New Black" season 5 details, but it is expected to return: the team reportedly started production as early as July 2016. The series has been renewed for 6th and 7th season already and has been Netflix's most-watched original series as of date, according to the network. In fact, it has already received 12 Emmy nominations and three wins for season one alone.

"Orange Is The New Black" season 5 will see Lori Petty's Lolly being transferred to the psych ward, Den of Geek added. White this previously was taken to mean the end for the character; Petty has confirmed that she will be appearing for next season. The previous three seasons of the series were aired in June so some fans expect that season 5 will also do the same.

From a story about Piper, the series has expanded its cast, which already includes Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Kate Mulgrew, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox, Dascha Polanco and many more. However, the death of Poussey in the previous season simply shows that other major characters could face the same fate come season 5.
