"Girl Meets World" fans were simply devastated to learn that their beloved series will no longer air its fourth season on Disney Channel. However, there are no reports showing fans some options on how to save the series!

After three seasons since its debut in 2014, "Girl Meets World" was officially announced canceled by Disney Channel this month. Just a few days into 2017, the network finally gave fans the long-awaited answer. The problem may not be the show itself, rather it may be because the Disney's audience is too young for the show, Deadline noted. However, it seems that they are not ready to say goodbye yet. There's seems to be a way to save the series and it appears some fans have caught on to it.

Saving "Girl Meets World" may just be possible, according to Bustle. The devoted "Girl Meets World" lovers are pleading for the show to get a revival treatment just like "Gilmore Girls" and "Fuller House." This will satisfy the original fans of "Boy Meets World," who live for nostalgia and many new ones, who want to continue watching Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) explore their life. Taking to Twitter, fans are campaigning to save the series by using hashtags #GirlMeetsNetflix, #SaveGMW, and #GirlMeetsHulu.

While the past has seen many networks saving some shows, especially the ones with a solid fan base, this could also hold true for "Girl Meets World." In fact, creators are listening and Michael Jobs already hinted that discussions are currently ongoing. It remains to be seen if Netflix or Hulu indeed picked up the series. Jobs said that there are at the initial stages, but nothing has been confirmed as of date. So fans should keep letting the world know they want "Girl Meets World!"

"Girl Meets World" two-part series finale will air on January 20, which will reportedly feature every returning cast member and plenty of tear-jerking moments with the cast. Do you think fans should finally say goodbye to the series? Let us know what you think by leaving your comments below!
