Fans of the Arrow-verse were surprised to see Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) back in "Arrow" Season 5. Some say that she is an impostor, but some believed that she is the new Black Canary. However, some also question if she will be on Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) side.

The show's showrunner Wendy Mericle revealed that there's a big possibility that Black Canary will be working alongside Green Arrow. In fact, she admitted that it is hard to do "Arrow" Season 5 without the second canary of the city. That being said, she added that she is not sure if this is going to happen this current chapter or the next. But she assured everyone that they will feature her original roots in the DC Universe, thus she would always be there.

According to Cinemablend, fans will continue to see Black Canary in "Arrow" Season 5 before the show officially ends. The publication also noted that Mericle didn't go into details and didn't answer some issues. Fans have been waiting to know if Oliver will be back as the vigilante superhero Green Arrow but as they got no answer, they believed it would definitely happen.

Meanwhile, the action crime television series' executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed the 15^th episode of "Arrow" Season 5 on his Instagram account. As the production is now underway, the next installment's title would be "Fighting Fire with Fire." Although this title has a lot of meanings, it is predicted that Oliver and the other vigilantes will be ready to face Prometheus (Michael Dorn) on his conditions after a lot of obstructions.

It has been known that Team Arrow is having a hard time to face the uniformed serial killer who has been targeting Oliver all the while, Comic Book reported. Now, the reason is believed to be Green Arrow has killed Prometheus' father in the show's first season, thus he is now taking his revenge on "Arrow" Season 5.
