The game enthusiasts are now excited for the upcoming "Resident Evil 7" as Capcom promised a gameplay that can be compared to its original roots. As details about the title are now emerging, one of strongest assumptions is it is coming on Nintendo Switch with VR support.

"Resident Evil 7" is about to hit the stores in less than a month and fans of the franchise are now looking forward to playing the game. But what makes them more excited is the alleged release of it on Nintendo Switch with VR support. The new started by a YouTuber named OBE1plays.

According to him, Capcom is eyeing to make "Resident Evil 7" playable on Nintendo Switch, but the developers are having a hard time to bring it on the said platform with VR support due to its power demand. It is quite believable that the survival horror game is coming on the home gaming system, but the VR support seems impossible. This is simply because the reported specs of the new game console don't have the enough capability to run the next "Resident Evil" installment with virtual reality experience, according to SegmentNext.

In fact, the game enthusiasts are dissatisfied learning that Nintendo Switch doesn't support games at 1080 resolution and 60 FPS. Capcom, on the other hand, confirmed "Resident Evil 7" to run at 1080 resolution and 60 FPS on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But, they are complaining why the video game company altered the title to be a first person shooter game, although the Japan-based company defended it for having a gameplay returning to its roots.

Meanwhile, GamingBolt reported that "Resident Evil 7" has a gameplay that would work even without the VR support for a reason that VR will stay as exclusive to PlayStation 4 for a year after its release. However, the game would support HDR and PlayStation 4 Pro updates that mean players can enjoy the most out of their graphic processors. "Resident Evil 7" is set to launch on Jan. 24.
