A "Pokemon Go" Christmas event is said to bring surprises, including a special event that will reward players with special gifts. A themed-shop button is also expected to be featured soon. Such additions are based on the data mined by some game enthusiasts, reportedly.

The information gathered by data miners apparently revealed some graphics similar to gift boxes, Express reported. This raised speculations that Niantic may be gearing up for another slew of updates that will include special presents for trainers. Such presents are said to be named from bronze to gold and will be available in various selections such as special, great and ultra.

However, the game developer has not officially announced a "Pokemon Go" Christmas event just yet. Though nothing has been confirmed, it did not stop players from speculating on what the boxes could hold inside. Some trainers believe that the gifts may contain Legendary Pokemon creatures.

Could it be possible? It seems likely that Niantic will use a special event to introduce some new Pokemon again. But until the "Pokemon Go" developer reveals the news, trainers are left to wait and keep guessing on what could be in store for them this Christmas.

Meanwhile, another report surrounding the hit augmented reality mobile game refers to the newly refreshed "Pokemon Go" load screen. As pointed out by Mic, the game's load screen depicted a silhouette of a woman which was not received well by players. Reportedly, fans are not happy with the female's pose and curvy look.

For this reason, Niantic seemingly replaced the load screen and updated the lady's appearance. The game developer, however, has not released any statement to confirm if they changed the screen to correct the image of the initial female trainer. Nevertheless, the "Pokemon Go" load screen retains the modified silhouette of the lady as of this posting.
