New events are coming to "COC" players after the recent Christmas update that started with the "Hog Rider Event" which commenced on Dec. 20. According to the tweet from the official "Clash of Clans" page, the event will give Hog Rider discounts while free gems will also be given away. Apart from gems, those who will participate in the event will also receive a boost in XP.

As per a report by Travellers Today, the "Hog Rider Event" will be followed by the "1 Gem Boost Event." This will allow players to boost their collectors and mines in exchange for a single gem. Exciting, isn't it?
However, the "1 Gem Boost" is believed to end after the holiday season. But players need not worry too much as the "Events" feature carried by "Clash of Clans" December 2016 update is said to be a permanent part of the game. Though this has not been confirmed, it seems likely that "COC" will have regular events to keep fans tuned into the game, reportedly.
Meanwhile, apart from the upcoming events, Supercell also teased that three Clashmas gifts will be presented to players. As per the "Clash of Clans" blog posted on Dec. 16, the first box will be opened next week. Are you excited to see what's inside?
