"Arrow" Season 5 is expected to see a new face as it returns in 2017. Actress Lexa Doig will join the crew as Talia al Ghul, Nyssa al Ghul's (Katrina Law) half sister. To those who want to know what the new character would bring to Team Arrow, please continue reading below.

A report by Den of Geek revealed the official description of Talia's character. It was said that she is a "worldly and cultured" woman. It was also disclosed that Nyssa's half sister is an "elite warrior who doesn't pick sides but rather creates her own."

Though actress Doig's role seems to be interesting, it still remains to be seen whether she will become an ally or an enemy to Team Arrow. Based on her character from the comics, she is a skilled lady who is an anti-hero and a supervillain. Could this mean that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his team would have to face another big bad apart from Prometheus?

Reports claimed that Talia will be featured in several episodes of "Arrow" Season 5. Being the daughter of the League of Assassins leader, Ra's al Ghul, Talia may likely be the key to explain Laurel Lance' (Katie Cassidy) return. However, this remains a mere speculation for now as nothing has been confirmed by the cast and team behind the show as of this posting.

Meanwhile, for Team "Olicity" shippers, a report from Blastr confirmed that Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Oliver are yet to rekindle their relationship this season. "We made a choice at the top of this season not to ... not to get them back together right away, for sure. And to leave that question up in the air. Which I think is a really real thing to happen," "Arrow" Executive Producer and Showrunner Wendy Mericle told Blastr.

"Arrow" Season 5 may not see the reunion of Felicity and Oliver just yet but who knows if the couple will be together again in the future? For now, there are more important matters at hand which Oliver needs to attend to, including his mission to catch Prometheus. We'll see if Green Arrow will finally capture this season's big bad as the series returns on Jan. 25.
