A new "Dota 2" patch rolled out on Dec. 22 that implemented bug fixes and rescaled XP. As it seems, the patch was released to give the game a redesign to give players a smoother experience. Below are some interesting details of the newly released update for the multiplayer online game.

As mentioned above, XP has been adjusted and the number required to go from level 6 to 12 and 12 to 20 is said to have increased by 140. However, the requirement to hit the 25th level from the 24th was reduced by 280. That said, players need to have the same number of total XP to reach the maximum level.

Some fixes were also applied to Jingu Mastery that ignores the calculations of life steal. It was also noted that the counter of Jingu Mastery now runs for 10 seconds instead of 15. More information about the recent "Dota 2" patch can be found on Steam's official page.

Moreover, the new "Dota 2" update also brought some good news especially for players who cannot view The Hall of Fame, Effigies and PA Arcana gravestones. Reportedly, the update fixed the bug and those who have experienced missing panels should be able to see them by now. Additionally, the Coaching bugs were also fixed.

Meanwhile, a report from Redbull pointed out that the initially released "Dota 2" 7.00 update clearly carried out graphical alterations that improved the game experience. As per the same report, Valve has kept its promise to bring new heroes as the update brought in the Monkey King. It was also claimed that the game developer has done a good job in giving "Dota 2" its unique identity as a game.

"'Dota 2' is finally 'Dota 2,'" according to the Redbull report. This means that the game has veered away from its predecessor and has received balance tweaks that players may appreciate.
