Will it be a match or no match? Nevertheless, it still is an NBA match and that is what makes it exciting. Currently placed at 13 in the Western Conference table, the Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at the latter's home, the Chesapeake Energy Arena, on Saturday (Nov 5). They will be looking for a decent showdown against likes MVP Russell Westbrook who is averaging 34.2. The Timberwolves will be banking on their star youngster Karl Anthony-Towns, who is averaging 19.8 points at the moment.

The Thunder suffered a 96-122 defeat against the Golden State Warriors on Friday (Nov 4) after four consecutive wins, will look to return to the winning track. "I understand you guys like, it's the Warriors," Westbrook told his team after the disappointing loss, according to a report in CBSSports.com. "They won. It's fine. But we're OK. We're 4-1. It's one game. We play on Saturday. So, simple as that," he said, the report added. The Thunder are ranked second at the moment after the San Antonio Spurs.

The Timberwolves, who have just one victory in four games so far, also saw a 99-102 loss to the Denver Nuggets in their last match on Thursday (Nov 3). Nemanja Bjelica's costly miss at the buzzer that would have sent the game to overtime left the Timberwolves a regretting lot. A 33-14 third quarter for the Denver Nuggets made all the difference. A late rush led by Anthony-Towns wasn't enough for the Timberwolves to evade the consequence.

"That third quarter is just haunting us right now," Timberwolves' Andrew Wiggins said, according to Alan Horton, a radio announcer.

The Timberwolves' only win so far has come against the Memphis Grizzlies who they beat 116-80 on Wednesday (Nov 2).

Given the young team the Timberwolves have, it will be interesting to see how much they make the Thunder stretch in this game. Anthony-Towns and Gorgui Dieng will pose a different challenge to the Thunder's frontliners like Steven Adams and Enes Kanter but the visitors will also have to face an energized Westbrook who will make the most to give his team the fifth win of the season. All in all, the Thunder look better placed to get a good win over their opponents in this game.
