Johnny Depp And Vanessa Paradis News: Actor To Blame For Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt Divorce?

Update Date: Sep 28, 2016 08:41 AM EDT

Could it be possible that Vanessa Paradis' ex-husband Johnny Depp has something to do with the divorce of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt?

While a lot of people appeared shocked upon learning that the 41-year-old "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" actress has already filed a divorced from the 52-year-old "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" actor on Sept. 20, a new report has hinted that the former partner of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star might have a different take on it.

Radar Online reported that the 43-year-old French musician's 2012 interview with "The National Enquirer" revealed some controversial statements.

Accordingly, Vanessa Paradis was "absolutely convinced" that Johnny Depp "slept with Angelina" while they were filming "The Tourist" in Venice.

As narrated by an unnamed source, the then-partner of the 53-year-old actor, who became more famous following his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow, was "against Johnny working with Angelina in the first place."

"She firmly believed that Angelina stole Brad Pitt away from Jennifer Aniston and felt she'd do the same with Johnny," the source added.

Allegedly, these suspicions marked the end of Vanessa Paradis' relationship with Johnny Depp.

In the meantime, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported early this month that despite the separation of her former partner, who is the father of her two children, the singer-songwriter allegedly has no plans to take him back.

While their reunion could be a "good thing" for the actor, it was pointed out that it is something she is not planning about since her "only concern" is their children.

"Sure, Vanessa Paradis might have defended him against Amber Heard's abuse allegations, but that's only because she has her own interests to protect," the entertainment site claimed. "The love between Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp is long gone, whether both of them like it or not."
