Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed Divorce: Couple Shares The Real Score

Update Date: Sep 13, 2016 01:40 PM EDT

Amid the silence of Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed, divorce rumors have still appeared unending.

Could there be truth to these allegations?

While the 37-year-old "The Vampire Diaries" actor and 28-year-old "The Twilight Saga" actress have been mom about all the accusations, their actions might be enough already to know the real score.

So what are their actions trying to say?

According to Movie News Guide, the strong relationship of Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed has been apparent.

It was noted that their recent social media posts could be the proof that everything is fine between them.

So where do these divorce rumors come from?

Some have reportedly dragged the actor's ex-girlfriend and former "TVD" co-star Nina Dobrev into the picture, as it was claimed that she might have something to do with the couple's alleged rocky romance.

Despite this situation, though, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have continued to prove that they are not heading for divorce.

In fact, the photos they shared on Instagram in August manifest the undeniable spark between them.

"Brother @ernestoriley thanks for snapping this sweet photo of me and my better half. I am the luckiest man on earth. Literally." The actor captioned his PDA-filled picture with his wife, Hollywood Life reported.

Prior to the posting of their sexy PDA snap, Gossip Cop has already shot down the divorce rumors hurled at Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed back in July.

Citing a report by Celeb Dirty Laundry, the site pointed out that there was no truth to its allegation, and that the couple is "not headed for divorce because Nina Dobrev may return to 'The Vampire Diaries,' despite a baseless report. Gossip Cop can bust the ridiculous story."

Gossip Cop further emphasized that "There is no love triangle. There is no potential divorce" between Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed while adding that "this manufactured drama is more befitting of a TV plot line than real life."
