Gwen Stefani received Radio Disney hero award on Saturday as her newly found boyfriend Blake Shelton gave her a standing ovation. Stefani was honored with hero award by Radio Disney Music Awards, which the singer said she never thought she would make it.

The voice coach, Pharrell Williams was the one who handed over the prestigious award to the country singer with an amazing introduction. "I'm proud to be here tonight to present the 2016 Ardy 'Hero' Award to not only someone I work with, recorded with, who I know, and what my brother, Blake Shelton, knows, truly has a heart of gold," said Williams, according to People.

Williams encouraged the audience to give a standing ovation to Gwen Stefani after the announcement and Blake Shelton was the first person to stand up for honoring his girlfriend. As Stefani reached the stage, she made sure to thank Williams for his hearty introduction he gave her. She emphasized twice that Williams was her real hero and she noted that she loves him so much.

"This is crazy that this is happening to me! I never thought, I mean who am I, that I would ever make a difference?" Stefani said while receiving the award, reported Daily Mail. "I am so honored to be here, I am so honored to be making music," she said. "I am so blessed to be making music that I can share with you and that I can receive your love back. I am so healed by you!"

The country singers Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met in The Voice show before they made their love for each other public couple of months back. Stefani is separated from her ex-husband rocker Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage. The couple that shares three sons as a symbol of their love was granted divorce by Los Angeles court on 8^th April.

Blake Shelton is separated from his famous ex-wife Miranda Lambert months back in a quick divorce. According to recent reports, the country singers Shelton and his present day love interest Stefani are happy with each other and are expected to announce their engagement in near future.
