Sex O’clock Is 7:37pm Saturday For Most Couples, Survey

Couples are most likely to have sex Saturday night at 7:37pm, according to a new survey.

The survey, which was conducted by the website Lovehoney.com, found that 44 percent of couples voted Saturday as the best day to make love. Sunday came in second and Friday came in third as the best day for sex, according to Express.

However, the survey also found a difference between when people are most aroused and when they actually have sex.

Researchers found that people are most aroused at 4:33pm on Saturdays. However, they don't tend to have sex until three hours later.

While a quarter of survey respondents are most aroused when they wake up, only 10 percent of respondents actually have morning sex.

Researchers said the study suggests that very few people are spontaneous when it comes to sex. For example, half of couples say they are so busy that they need to schedule a designated time to have sex, according to the Daily Mail.

"Scheduling sex can seem like the least romantic activity in the world, but we have found that regular physical intimacy is the key to overall relationship happiness," said Richard Longhurst, co-founder of Lovehoney, according to the Huffington Post. "If the only way you have time for sex is to schedule it, then why not?"

"Sex o'clock will be different for lots of people, but all our research shows that couples who have great sex lives also have great relationships," he added.
