Men are more easily aroused in the winter, according to a new study.

Researchers found that men were significantly more aroused by sexy pictures of women in the winter months than they were in the summer months.

The latest study involved 114 men who were asked to rate the attractiveness of several women every three months over the course of a year.

The men were asked to rate two sets of photos. One picture showed only the women's faces and the other showed their bodies.

While men's attraction to women's faces did not change during the course of the year, their attraction to women's bodies changed significantly.

The findings revealed significantly higher levels of arousal over the more revealing pictures in the months of December, January and February than in the months of June, July and August, according to the Daily Mail.

The findings also revealed that men in long-term relationships rated their romantic partners as more attractive in the winter than in the summer.

The findings are published in the blog The Psychology of Human Sexuality.
