A shocking video has captured the moment a calm Russian solider had an AK-47 machine gun bullet removed from his forehead with a pair of pliers.

The grinning solider, who has since been dubbed the Russian "Terminator" was reportedly caught in the middle of an AK-47 firefight between Russian and Chechen militants during the war in 2000, according to the New York Daily News. However, the video has only surfaced this week.

The astonishing video shows him sitting calmly and unemotionally as a person uses a pair of pliers to yank out the bullet jammed deep in his forehead.

The video shows the soldier's friend cleaning the affected area before removing the bullet. Then you see his friend forcibly tugging at the bullet many times before finally extracting it. Afterwards, the soldier turns around and smiles for the camera, looking relieved that the firmly lodged bullet was finally removed.
