The day is always special for any father, but 48-year-old and seven-time Formula One World Champion, Michael Schumacher could not witness his son at Silverstone this weekend, as he is still convalescing at his home. He is still under strict medical guidance after getting his life back from a severe skiing accident that had put him in the coma.
Michael Schumacher Is An Idol And Role Model In Mick’s Eyes
The 18-year old Mick, who considers Michael Schumacher his idol and role model, has already finished sixth, eighth, and eighteenth in the three races this weekend, as reported by Mail Online. Remember that Formula Three is considered as a Feeder Formula where younger drivers initially learn the ropes before venturing into the bigger challenge. Followed by his joining Formula Three, Mick said that he had taken the step to go early into F1 but he is initially not ready for it.
“It has not worked out yet. Probably I am not consistent enough. But my goal in the next few years is to win, of course,” Mick continued by putting hints that he has no plan about his career.
His present target is to win only. Hence, he has said that he is now trying his best to prove himself as a driver and improve further. “I want to compete with the best and they are all in Formula One,” Mick added.
