"Wonder Woman" will reach the theaters this summer. However, the promos have already started generating a lot of interest.

And it is more because Gal Gadot is playing Diana Prince. The character in itself is iconic for the new generation girls. Hence, it was necessary that the person representing it should look equally dashing and dynamic on screen.

Gal Gadot Takes Inspiration From Beyonce

And to nail the perfect "Wonder Woman" look, Gal Gadot took inspiration from none other than Queen Bey aka Beyonce, reports Vanity Fair. Actually, fans have in some way already accepted her as the legendary Diana Prince when Gadot struck that special pose of the iconic character at the San Diego Comic-Con last summer.

And if fans look at the "Wonder Woman of Gadot carefully, they can easily find the similarities in the thigh-baring, high-booted appearance of the pop singer. According to the actress, the audition for the role was highly nerve-wrecking.

She said that when she auditioned for "Batman V Superman," she had no idea that the audition was being carried out for the role of "Wonder Woman," reports Stuff. Gal Gadot revealed that Zack Snyder just wanted her to do a camera test and it was nothing short of a torture.

Seven To Eight Girls Auditioned For "Wonder Woman" Role

Gal Gadot stated that there were seven to eight girls called for audition each in separate trailers. All the girls were asked to stay inside the trailers until the production team called them. The actress said that her competition was against another promising star, Elodie Yung, who now plays the role of Elektra in "Daredevil."

Gal Gadot became nervous waiting for her call during the audition for the "Wonder Woman" role. At that time she decided to calm herself down by listening to music and put on Beyonce. She just started to dance on her songs and felt her anxiety go.
