Series star, Charlie Cox shared some details on Film and Telly Stuff with Luke and Al radio show. He hinted on the possible release date, Avengers appearance and his stint on "The Defenders."

Daredevil will soon join Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron first in the upcoming "The Defenders." Marvel previously released a CCTV-like footage with the show's premiere date. "The Defenders" Season 1 airs this summer on Aug. 18, 2017.

"Daredevil" As The Masked Hero
"The Defenders" teaser shows that Cox's character hid his face, as they boarded the Midland Circle Security elevator. Daredevil wore a makeshift mask from a discarded scarf in the video.

According to Heroic Hollywood, it is somewhat advantageous for everyone. The four superheroes will not always appear together so having a new stunt team ready is efficient. Cox said that they might share a scene with his stunt double.

Daredevil To Join The Avengers?

All of the four Marvel series from Netflix share the same universe with the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As of now, the members of "The Defenders" have yet to appear alongside their movie counterparts.

Cox talked about if this TV-movie collab can happen in the future. He took note of Clark Gregg and his participation in the MCU. However, he stressed that there are different teams who work on the TV shows and the movies.

The actor said that he even read Daredevil's part in the Civil War arc. He confessed that his "street-hero" character is not yet on par with the superheroes on the "Avengers" movies. But he is not closing his doors on this possibility.

"He’s a street hero and he doesn’t have superpowers in the same way but his role as a device within Civil War is really effective and he maintains his character. So I think he could have worked so who knows. Maybe one day.” Cox told the radio show.

Charlie Cox also shared that the "Daredevil" Season 3 filming will start in 2018. Fans just have to wait for more updates. In the meantime, they can watch the upcoming release of "The Defenders" this Aug.
