'Jessica Jones' Season 2: Filming Starts In New York; Loot Crate Toy Released

"Jessica Jones" fans, get ready. The cast and crew are currently filming in New York City.

Meanwhile, Loot Crate released a miniature toy for the badass Marvel character. Read on for more details about "Jessica Jones" Season 2.

On Location Vacations exclusively reported on the latest update. Netflix started the production for the second season of the female-led superhero show.

"Jessica Jones" Season 2 Films In NYC

The Netflix-Marvel series is currently filming at the Long Island-based Broadway Stages. They will schedule another filming next week. The news came few weeks after "The Defenders" Season 1 finished shooting.

The outlet added that the Apr. 10 shoot has been set under the working title, "Violet." It will take place at West 101st Street and Broadway. The location is the same place where they shot Jessica's condo slash Alias headquarters.

The news came after Marvel reportedly finished filming for "The Defenders" Season 1. It is the final part of MCU's massive lineup for TV shows and films. "The Defenders" will feature Jessica, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist.

Loot Crate Makes "Jessica Jones" Toy

According to Entertainment Weekly, Jessica will have another action figure made in her honor. It will be exclusively included in the upcoming Loot Crate for this month.

The monthly subscription company releases a box with a theme called "Investigate" theme. Jessica's mini version will feature her as she kicked down a brick wall.

Krysten Ritter previously expressed her interest in having her own line of toys. It was after director Shane Black ("Iron Man 3") "swapped out the movie’s female villain to sell more toys."

In an interview with Stephen Colbert, Ritter said she will make some phone calls to make this happen. She added that even "girls can sell toys.

More "Jessica Jones" Season 2 Updates

Marvel and Netflix have yet to announce the release date for the second installment. There is also no news on the synopsis nor the new villain. This is mark the return of Krysten Ritter as the superhuman detective, who is part of the Defenders.
