Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe recently shared some behind-the-scenes footage of "Outlander" Season 3  from South Africa, where they are filming some crucial scenes.Meanwhile, these two fan-favorite characters were present in a rugby match in South Africa's Cape Town.

There are still some months left for the return of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe's show on Starz. The production team of "Outlander" Season 3 are pn the location to film some highly-anticipated scenes. Moreover, they are being generous with their fans by sharing regular updates through social media, Daily Record wrote.

This time around, author Diana Gabaldon is giving company to Heughan and Balfe aboard their recent set, which is a ship, glowing in South Africa's warm sunshine. Both stars were spotted basking in the sun and pointing out that it was quite evident that they were away from the shores of Scotland.

There was a short and sweet clip that was shared on the official Starz Instagram page of "Outlander" it was captioned "Ahoy from the Artemis." There were some selfies by the actors along with an action shot where Heughan showed off his skills in biking.

Viewers can also enjoy some real close-up footage of the show's nautical set. Also, the official Instagram page also showcased the new set.

Fans were ecstatic to spot Heughan and Balfe on Saturday (Apr. 1), when the actors were present during a rugby match in South Africa's Cape Town. The pair watched the match between Cheetahs and Stormers at DHL Newlands Stadium, ET reported.

Heughan wore blue to support the Stormers, who eventually emerged as winners of the game. The actor also shared a cute picture of him and Balfe on Twitter after the completion of the match. Balfe appeared to be having a great time in the picture and sported a pair of retro sunglasses, as she held up her beer.

"Outlander" Season 3 returns to Starz in Sept. this year.
