"Grimm" Season 6 Finale Episode Was Tearful And Tragic

The high voltage episode of NBC's "Grimm" Season 6 was packed with emotion, tragic deaths, and tears -  it revealed a new way to battle it out with the evil power. The "Grimm" universe lasted for about 123 hours in total.

Kudos to the executive producers of the show, Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt - who shaped up a finale, which featured Wesen Zerstorer, the Destroyer (Wil Travel played the human part and Douglas Tait played the skull creature). The monstrous creature required a mystical item from Nick (David Giuntoli) so that he can become the most powerful entity.

The real surprise package of the concluding episode was the death of the majority of the cast, Los Angeles Times wrote. The last two episodes of season 6 were full of emotions and goodbyes, both online and on the sets.

There have been innumerable requests made by the show's fans for another outlet or network to pick up this show. However, to date, all such pleas gave gone unanswered.

Kouf further stated, "That's the way TV is watched now. Nobody has to be home watching when it's on. The audience is finding shows in different ways now." Kouf also indicated that today television viewing has expanded beyond geographical boundaries as the show has an international audience.

Kouf said, "We were ultimately in 300 countries. It had a great universal appeal. We drew from all over the world."

Meanwhile, when the show was in its sixth installment, NBC had made it known that this would be the final season for it. "Grimm" Season 6 ended with a key message that people get strength from those who they love.
