Matthew Perry made headlines in Mar., when the "Friends" star admitted that he beat up the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau when he was younger. The Canadian PM seems to want some revenge, as he tweeted Perry for a fight rematch.

According to Us Weekly, Matthew Perry who stars in "The Kennedys: After Camelot" admitted that he beat up the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau during their younger years. Now, the handsome PM wants a rematch from the former "Friends" actor.

Justin Trudeau Asks Matthew Perry For Rematch

On April Fool's day, Justin Trudeau tweeted Matthew Perry asking him for a rematch. The tweet garnered 32, 723 likes and 12,104 retweets. Apparently, the two fought each other when they were still grade 5 students at Rockcliffe Park Public School in Ottawa, Canada.

When Matthew Perry guested on the TV show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on the ABC Network, Konbini stated that he unveiled that he and his friend, Chris Murray beat up the son of the current Prime Minister at that time, Pierre Trudeau. Perry was not proud of what they did and said that he and Murray did it beacause of jealousy.

Trudeau Was Just Joking

"I've been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn't wanted to punch Chandler?" Trudeau, the 45-year-old Prime Minister wrote on his Twitter account on April Fool's day. "How about a rematch @MatthewPerry?"

The next day, the "Odd Couple" actor responded on Twitter saying, "@JustinTrudeau I think I will pass at your request for a rematch kind sir (given that you currently have an army at your disposal)."

Perry said that he has not stayed in contact with the current PM after the school years. Hopefully, they can be friends now.

Matthew Perry even confessed that he might have beat up Justin Trudeau because he was an instrument to become successful and because of his connection to the rank of the Prime Minister.
