‘Mission Impossible 6’ Shoots In India; Know Why Jeremy Renner Isn’t A Part Of The Sequel

Here is some good news for action movie lovers. After a long wait, it seems we are gradually getting close to “Mission Impossible 6,” the sequel movie that fans have always demanded for a long time.

The movie is presently in the production stage. But the unfortunate fact is that “Captain America: Civil War” actor, Jeremy Renner, who had an important character - William Brandt in the fourth and fifth installments, will not return in the upcoming sequel.

Why Is Jeremy Renner Not A Part Of “Mission Impossible 6”

There are some notable reasons that have been cited about the exit of Jeremy Renner from “Mission Impossible 6.” According to Screenrant, one of the main ones is the conflict in schedule because he will be playing the role of Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War,” as well as “Avengers 4.” The movies are expected to hit the big screens in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Apart from this, the other reason is ought to be the varied shooting locations. Director Christopher McQuarrie will commence the shooting of “Mission Impossible 6” in this year’s spring and Paris is chosen as the main shooting location, as reported by MovieWeb.

Even the movie is said to be having an Indian connect and some important shots will also be taken in India, among several other international locations. Hence, these locations can never match with “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers 4’s” locations.

On the other hand, some fans have shared their opinions that 46-year old Jeremy Renner has intentionally picked “Avengers: Infinity War,” simply due to its earlier massive box-office record. And “Mission Impossible 6” has not even released any trailer and official title.

Who Will Play Renner's William Brandt Character In The Movie?

So far, there is no confirmation about a new actor who can play the role of William Brandt with the exit of Jeremy Renner from “Mission Impossible 6.” However, there is a huge possibility that a new role can be introduced in the storyline by replacing William Brandt, but nothing has been announced so far.
