‘Orange Is The New Black’ Season 5: Series To Have Severe Fight & Friendship Simultaneously, What's Next For Poussey Washington

Although the previous season went to hiatus after ending with a cliffhanger, it seems that the upcoming “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 will be filled with good percentage of violence between the correction officers (CO) and inmates at the Litchfield Penitentiary. Viewers will have to churn entertaining moments out of it.

Enough Fights In “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 To Take Someone’s Life

As mentioned above, “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 is expected to portray a three-way war between the Latina, black, and white inmates. It will result a huge uprising against the new brutal guards headed by Desi Piscatella (Brad William Henke).

The fight is not to be simple because viewers will be surprised to see the death of one of their favorite characters in the upcoming season. It is believed that Poussey Washington (played by Samira Wiley) will face unexpected consequences, as reported by Stars Post.

Apart from this violent part, the episodes of “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 will also emphasize on love and friendship. A recent report revealed that Marisol Gonzales aka Flaca (Jackie Cruz) and Maritza Ramos (Diane Guerrero) will develop their friendship and bring some lighthearted banters to the series. “She’s also political, and she’s the reason why I was like Wow! Her voice is making a difference!” Cruz said, Travelers Today published.

Did Daya Actually Pull The Trigger In The Last Episode?

On the other hand, since season 4 ended with an absolute cliffhanger that involved Dascha Polanco’s character, Dayanara Diaz aka Daya holding a gun and pointing it to Thomas aka Humps Humphrey (Michael Torpey).

The new report also added that Daya, as revealed by the actress Dascha Polanco, that she already pulled the trigger although it was not shown in at the end of the previous season. If that is the case, then “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 episodes will have severe tension between the groups.

“Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 is slated to hit the small screen on June 9 on Netflix.
