Louis Herthum joins the growing roster of the show's notable actors. He plays the role of Peter Abernathy, Dolores' (Evan Rachel Wood) father. Prior to his role as a rancher, he also worked as a sheriff in the past.

The 60-year-old Herthum receives the latest promotion to become a recurring character to a regular cast member. In the recent casting updates, British actress Talulah Riley will also come back as Angela. She will also appear in "Westworld" Season 2.

What Happened To Old Peter In "Westworld"?

Old Peter, which is Herthum's role, became curious over a mysterious photograph of a woman. His curiosity led him to remember few things including the girl and a few Shakespeare quotes.

When an upgrade happened, Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins) learned about Old Peter's "aberrancy" spell. The latter had the chance to access the memory of his previous versions.

Because of this, the team behind "Westworld" decided to put him to sleep in the Cold Storage. It was after another host named Walter breached as well. They eventually lobotomized and decommissioned Old Peter and Walter.
