In "Attack on Titan" Season 1, the storyline took care of covering many key characters in the series. But, spoilers claim that season 2 will find many other characters getting the spotlight on them too. It is also expected that a new Titan will be introduced in the upcoming season.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 Updates: Yuki Kaji Teases New Details

Yuki Kaji, one of the prominent voice actors for the series spoke to ANIPLUS Asia, The Christian Post reported. He shared what is expected in the new season of the popular Japanese anime series.

Kaji is famous for doing the voice over of Eren Yeager in the series. The voice actor hinted that other characters such as Sasha and Connie will also get a good deal of screen time in "Attack of Titan" Season 2.

In an interview given to ANIPLUS, the actor said, "Their backbones will come to light. Then we have Krista and Ymir. These two will also be portrayed as very important characters. "

The same thought was previously shared by directors Koizuka Masashi and Araki Tetsuro in another interview. The duo has also revealed that viewers will see more horses in the new season as compared to the previous one.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 To Feature Beast Titan

Apart from that, season 2 will also feature the Beast Titan, who was earlier a part of the manga series from where the anime has been adapted. Comicbook.com reported that just like Eren, the Beast Titan is a shape lifter. Moreover, the manga also revealed that the Beast Titan is the older half-brother of Eren, Zeke Yeager and is a bitter adversary.

Kaji also said that from the kind of information being made available with PV, he feels that the Beast Titan will be there too. Kaji further mentioned, "Like I said earlier, Season 2 has a pretty different image and impact, and he's a very important character in that respect."

There is no doubt that excitement is building up among fans to watch the Beast Titan in the upcoming episodes. "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in Apr. this year.
