It can be recalled how John Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen recently opened up about having gone through postpartum depression after giving birth to their daughter almost a year ago. Now, she is currently still healing herself with the support of her loving husband and through going on vacations as a family.

Chrissy Teigen recently revealed through an essay on Glamour how she suffered through postpartum. She didn’t realize what was happening to her until a few months later, and now opened up about it on the account of helping other women who are going through it as well.

Chrissy Teigen Gets Support From John Legend

According to CNN, supermodel, Chrissy Teigen's husband and legendary singer, John Legend also talked about how proud he is of his wife for finally opening up about it. According to the singer, it was not easy for them when they became new parents and had their own struggles throughout the whole thing as well.

According to Legend, he stood by his wife’s side, as she went through the whole thing for nearly a year. As a husband, he believed that being there for his wife was all that he could do, in addition to the medication that Teigen was taking when she was diagnosed of it.

Legend Encourages Women To Open Up About It

Legend also believes that opening up about it could create doors for other women who are going through the same thing. Even though the couple are still both struggling with the healing process, it definitely helps being there for one another and their daughter, Luna.

In spite of having gone through struggles in becoming new parents, Daily Mail revealed that the happy family has managed to stay upbeat and positive through it. Legend, his wife Teige,  and Luna recently shared on Instagram photos of their family vacation, wherein Luna learned her first word, “cat.”
