From the time "The Voice" Season 12 premiered on NBC, the spotlight has been on Shelton and his girlfriend Stefani, as they continue to be flirty on set. Recently, in an interview given on Howard Stern's radio show "Sirius XM," the musician revealed that the flirtation on set looked slightly "weird" to him.

Moreover, he felt as if he was a "third wheel." Levine was responding to a question on how things are on the show since two of the judges are dating in real life, Latinos Health wrote.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani fell in love when they were co-judging "The Voice" in 2015. When Adam Levine was queried on the sudden development, the coach said that he is supportive of his co-judges, since one does not have much control where matters related to heart are concerned. Moreover, Levine also feels that the love between the duo is a "beautiful thing."

Season 12 witnessed the participation of 62 participants in the very first seven episodes. There were times when more than one coaches wanted the same contestant. During those times, the coaches even tried to justify why the contestant should choose them over others.

But since Shelton enjoys a track record of winning five out of the 11 times he judged the show, it was relatively easy for him to get seven participants in his team. In a poll conducted by Goldderby, about 65 percent of the outlet's readers voted for Josh Hoyer. Incidentally, Hoyer had impressed both Stefani and Shelton when he performed on a track titled "Oh Girl."
