'The Big Bang Theory' Gets Huge Renewal For Season 11 and 12; Seven-figure Salaries For Cast

Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" are excited, now that the good news has been confirmed, the show got a huge renewal for seasons 11 and 12. Get to know if the cast members are really receiving a seven-figure salary this time around.

According to CNN, the hit TV series received a huge renewal, as CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" receives a go signal for seasons 11 and 12. The show was renewed by Warner Bros. Television and CBS network.

"The Big Bang Theory" Continues To Be Top-Rated

"The Big Bang Theory" has been on small screens since 2007 and it continues to be top-rated. The outlet even stated that the show is the latest TV series to get a huge renewal deal. It has become a top-rating TV series since 2010.

The renewal of the show is reportedly setting the clock for the CBS network, as the pressure is on. The cast and crew of the show will have to start working for the next season's story from today on.

"The Big Bang Theory"  Season 10 gains an averaging 19.40 million televiewers and a whopping of 5.1 rating in adults 18-49. The show has been getting consistent numbers of audience, which is the reason the show remains at the number one spot.

According to reports, the series is the modern version of "Friends." The cast of "Friends" have reportedly worked and negotiated as a group, which increased their leverage in the long run.

Cast Gets Paid Seven-Figures

Forbes unveiled that the cast does not get paid equally. Among the highest paid actors are Kunal Nayyar, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, and Simon Helberg. These actors are reportedly getting paid equally, which is $1 million per episode.

Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch are reportedly not yet confirmed to reprise their role for the next seasons of "The Big Bang Theory." They are allegedly paid between $175,000 and $200,000 per episode.
