Created by Kentaro Miura, "Berserk" has two anime adaptations and a film trilogy. The anime premiered in 1997 while the latest one began a year ago. In 2012, the movie "Berserk: The Golden Age Arc" made its debut.

"Berserk" Plot

According to Manga Fox, Gus is a nomad mercenary, who becomes part of the "Band of the Hawks. The main protagonist then had a falling out with the leader of the Hawks.

In "Berserk," Guts will then go on a road for redemption. He wanted to get his revenge from Griffith. His former comrade was the one took away everything from him.

The dark fantasy manga follows a loner's struggling in finding his calling. The said character will then seek and support a very powerful leader as his boss and friend. However, a series of tragedies might end their friendship.

"Berserk" English Dub Update

IGN reported that "Fire Emblem: Fates; Odin" will lend his voice to Guts AKA the Black Swordsman. He and other voice actors will work on the "Berserk" English dub version for Funimation. The "Berserk" English dub version will feature various voice actors. The list includes Steve Cannon (Griffith), Max Mittelman (Serpico), Erik Scott Kimerer (Isidro), Doug Stone (Adolf), Erica Mendez (Rickert), G.K. Bowes (Collette), Jake Eberle (Narrator) and more.

Aside from them, Kirk Thornton will provide additional voices. The outlet also revealed that the dubbed version will have Michael McConnohie as the ADR director and Jalen Cassell as the script writer.

"Berserk" Season 2 Release Date Plus New Clip

According to the outlet, the anime released an exclusive video. In the teaser, Guts will save his companions from the mysterious skeleton creatures. The English dubbed "Berserk" will debut available on Monday, Mar. 20, 2017 on Funimation.
