A few months ago, Selena Gomez went through a lot of emotional troubles. Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend even checked herself into rehab, then she returned and continued her successful career.

A recent report from News.com.au suggested Selena Gomez admitted that she is still having some issues in handling the success and fame she has now. The "It Ain't Me" singer stated that she loves her job, yet the paparazzi is the reason why she does not want to attract the public.

Selena Gomez Wants To Be Unpopular?

“Look, I love what I do, and I am aware of how lucky I am, but how can I say this without sounding weird? I just really cannot wait for people to forget about me,” the "Love You Like A Love Song" songstress said.

She even unveiled that the paparazzi exposed her private life, which she is unhappy about. Gomez admitted that Bella Hadid learned about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd on social media, which is why the "Victoria's Secret" model unfollowed her on Instagram.

“As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out,” Gomez added. Gomez who is the cover girl of Vogue, stated that her popularity, especially on IG has given her negative results. Some of the IG stories apparently caused drama in her life.

Gomez Wants To Lay Low

Meanwhile, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress is reportedly doing all she can to avoid the pressures of her life, especially because of fame. The young actress has been residing in an Airbnb in California, as she tries to lay low.

Gomez also said that she "wish more people would talk about therapy. "We girls, we are taught to be almost too resilient, to be strong and sexy and cool and laid-back, the girl who is down. We also need to feel allowed to fall apart.”

Per AV Club, Gomez's story should have been passed on the Teen Vogue. The publication dissed the journalist of the magazine, saying that Lauren Duca (of Vogue) would have interviewed Gomez better.

As of now, Selena Gomez is currently busy working on her new album. She is also in a sweet and happy relationship with the "Starboy" hitmaker, The Weeknd.
