Ricardo Medina Jr. Guilty Of Voluntary Manslaughter

Former actor Ricardo Medina Jr., whose commendations include the TV series "Power Rangers Samurai," has responded guilty to a crime count of voluntary manslaughter in the stabbing demise of his roommate. The 38-year-old actor disclosed an accusation of using a sword in slaying the victim, according to a report posted by Yahoo!.

Why Did Ricardo Medina Jr. Slay His Roommate?

According to the district attorney's department, Ricardo Medina Jr. got into a dispute over his girlfriend with his roommate, 36-year-old Josh Sutter, on Jan. 31, 2015. The dispute become more physical and Medina Jr. murdered his roommate with a samurai.

In a report from on E! News, the authorities stated that in 2015, police were called to the men's apartment after a brawl broke out among Medina and Sutter. They said it had become physical once Medina and his girlfriend went to his room, adding that Sutter then followed them and forced the door open.

When Medina Jr. opened the door. he stabbed the victim in the abdomen. After the incident, he brought Stutter to the hospital but he was already declared dead.

Ricardo Medina Jr. Facing The Consequences Of Slaying His Roommate

After further investigation, Medina was imprisoned on the suspicion of murder. He is arranged to be convicted on Mar. 30 and faces the highest punishment of six years in state prison. Medina evaded a murder assault that would have brought a penalty of 26 years to life behind bars.
