The founder of Skinnygirl Cocktails, Bethenny Frankel is presently having a big legal turmoil with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. He appeared in court and completely rejected a plea offer last Monday (Mar. 13) in his harassment and stalking case. These charges were brought against Jason Hoppy by his ex-wife, Bethenny Frankel earlier this year.

Charges Against Jason Hoppy In detail

The 46-year-old Hoppy was present in court to confront the charges that were clearly defined in this way. He was charged with aggravated harassment in the first degree, harassment in the second degree, and stalking in the fourth degree, reports Reality Tea.

Jason Hoppy used to send constant texts and emails to Bethenny Frankel after their separation in Dec. 2012. Police verified that he had already sent hundreds of messages, which also included emails and Facebook notes.

“Jason Hoppy rejected the plea offer, which was pleading to a harassment violation with a requirement of anger management and a full and final order of protection in favor of the defendant. There is still a temporary order of protection in place for the defendant,” per People, as confirmed by the New York District Attorney’s Office.

Bethenny Frankel gave birth to a daughter in May 2010, named Bryn when she was in a relationship with Jason Hoppy, a pharmaceutical sales executive. He was arrested on Jan. 27. It was mainly based on her complaint in which “The Real Housewives of New York City” claimed that his threatening calls were also related to their 6-year-old daughter.

The 46-year-old reality television personality, Bethenny Frankel was almost like a magnet of attraction when she stepped out in New York, after appearing in court, as reported by Mail Online.
