Possibility Of "Prison Break" Season 6 Renewal

Paul Scheuring, series creator almost suggested that this could be the final season when he told Entertainment Weekly, "On some level, that break that we had of six-to-seven years in real life allowed Wentworth (Miller) to appreciate what he had with Michael Scofield,"

However, it appears that Miller is optimistic that there could be a "Prison Break" Season 6 renewal, as he feels that there is room for more. Last year, the actor was interviewed by Digital Spy at San Diego Comic-Con. Miller did say that he does not mind another comeback.

The actor said, "There's always room for more, in my mind," He added, "As long as it's a story that's worth telling, as long as it feels justified and cool and edgy." Later, the actor indicated that a discussion regarding the show's renewal for its sixth installment will largely depend on the viewers' response to Season 5.

In other news, even actress Sarah Wayne Callies did admit that season 5 was originally intended to be the series finale. She said "This was pitched as 'We're gonna do nine episodes. Drop the mic and walk away' and I'm fine with that."

The Return Of Michael Scofield In "Prison Break" Season 5

The last time viewers saw an episode of "Prison Break", it was eight years ago. The show is finally making a comeback on TV screens after a long gap. Season 5 will be called "Prison Break: Resurrection."

Viewers will remember that in the previous season, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) was supposed to be dead. But, it is reported that the character will return in "Prison  Break" Season 5.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is slated to premiere on Apr. 4 on Fox in the United States. The premiere date for Australia is yet to be officially declared.
