‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Theories And Questions From Fans, Unveiled

By Mary Perry | Update Date: Mar 17, 2017 07:59 AM EDT

HBO recently announced the release date for the highly anticipated season 7 of "Game of Thrones." Since this is the final season, producers may take this opportunity to prove or disprove some popular theories.

In an article by Inverse, there are four theories that fans hope to get answers to before the airing of "Game of Thrones" Season 7. First off, is the Grand Northern Conspiracy.

This is where the people of the North will support the claim of power of the Starks. It is quite likely however, due to the discovery of Jon Snow's lineage as a Stark and as a Targaryen, he might have a hard time convincing the North of his claim because of his Targaryen roots.

What Happens In "Game of Thrones" Season 7

Meanwhile, Howland Reed has been watching over Sansa Stark in "Game of Thrones." Reed is one of the loyal followers of the Starks, more specifically Ned, and he knows of the union of Jon's parents from start until Jon Snow's birth.

Third, that Tyrion has Targaryen blood. The Imp surely surprised everyone of his talent of communicating with Daenerys' dragons.

It is known that Tywin hated Tyrion and viewers speculated that this is because he is not of Lannister blood. The Mad King, in the books, liked Tywin's wife and may have produced a spawn.

However, this is unlikely to become a part of the series. Lastly, is the Valonqar. This is with regards to the prediction told to Cersei when she was younger.

In the prediction, Cersei will be killed by "The Valonqar", a High Valyrian which translates to "little brother". Now, this complicates things, as Tyrion is not the only little brother, but Jaime is as well.

What Else To Expect From Season 7?

According to Seattle PI, the season is set back a few months, compared to their previous airings, as most of the scenes in season 7 are being produced in wintry weather. This indicates a lot of the story to develop in the North.

Season 7 will also have Ed Sheeran as a guest star but not Conor McGregor, as previously reported. Also, fans can expect a lot of the main characters coming together.

As the series draws to a close, viewers are hoping to get some answers in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
