‘Big Hero 6: The Series’ Gets Season 2 Confirmation By Disney; First Season Yet To Be Aired

The long-awaited “Big Hero 6: The Series” will finally hit the small screen in autumn this year. No doubt, the series is good - this paved they way for another season. Even before the premiere of its first season, Disney renewed the season 2, understanding the requirement of animation lovers.

Actors Reprising Their Roles In “Big Hero 6: The Series”

“Big Hero 6: The Series” is being produced by Disney Television Animation. The series picked up immediately, following the events of the 2014 Disney film of the same name (“Big Hero 6”) and continues the adventures and friendship of tech genius Hiro Hamada and cutting-edge robot Baymax, reports Deadline. “Supah Ninjas” actor, Ryan Potter will reprise his role (voice) for 14-year old Hiro and “Mr. Show with Bob” actor, David Scott Adsit for Baymax.

Other than Ryan Potter and David Scott, other actors are also confirmed for “Big Hero 6: The Series” such as Génesis Rodríguez, Jamie Chung, Brooks Wheelan, and Khary Payton. The actors will lend their voices to characters Honey Lemon, GoGo Tomago, Fred, and Wasabi respectively.

“Mark, Bob and Nick have delivered a dynamic adventure series that follows the ‘Big Hero 6’ superhero team, led by audience favorites Hiro and Baymax. We’e honored to have the opportunity to further expand the elaborate world and engaging characters of ‘Big Hero 6: The series’ with this early second-season order,” the senior Vice President (Programming) and General Manager of Disney XD said in an interview, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Viewership Expectations From Animated Series

“Big Hero 6: The Series” is going to record massive hits from viewers, considering the fact that the animation movie of the same name (“Big Hero 6”) won several prestigious awards and earned $657 million at the global box office.
