Actor Colton Haynes may not be reprising his role in "Arrow" Season 5 soon, but he has fantastic news for his fans. The actor recently got engaged to his boyfriend.

"Arrow" Star Colton Haynes Gets Engaged To Boyfriend In Dream Event

Haynes recently took to social media to announce his engagement to boyfriend, Jeff Leatham. The couple got engaged in Mexico. In one of the pictures posted, the duo was seen kissing while there were fireworks right in the background.

Colton Haynes had a beautiful caption for the picture, "I SAID YES!!!" It seems that it was Leatham who proposed to the actor, while they were away on a romantic vacation in Cabo, Mexico. Haynes' boyfriend had decorated the entire place with candles inside glasses.

These glasses were then placed over the sand and the walkways. Leatham also arranged for a TV set and some couches for a romantic post-engagement date. Incidentally, Leatham is a celebrity florist by profession.

Haynes' representative confirmed that the actor said yes and there was a special event thereafter, with a fireworks display. The couple danced to the tune of "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.

The "Arrow" star, Colton Haynes also uploaded a photo where a giant screen showed Cher in a videotaped message. Actress Ally Maki, Haynes' best friend congratulated the duo as well. She thanked Leatham for demonstrating his true love for Haynes and transforming the latter's life.

Haynes' role as Roy Harper Arsenal in the TV series "Arrow" has been widely appreciated. The actor appeared as a guest star last season. He was also seen in the "Teen Wolf" series on MTV

Colton Haynes Admitted His Sexual Orientation

It was last year when Haynes publicly declared that he is gay. He also took the opportunity to make his relationship with Leatham public on Valentine's Day.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in May last year, he confessed about his sexual orientation. There have been several discussions and reports about his sexuality prior to that.

Haynes admitted that he went through issues related to mental health before coming out. He also said that it is important to reach out for help in case a person is facing such issues.
