‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Spoilers: Fresh Batch Of Paul Reiser & Sean Astin To Fight PTSD Issues; New Love For Joyce

"Stranger Things" Season 2 spoilers suggest that a fresh batch of new characters including Paul Reiser and Sean Astin will be introduced. Reports related to the upcoming season also indicate that there will be an option of new love for Joyce Byers.

David Harbour, who plays the role of  police chief Jim Hopper in the Netflix Sci-fi series recently posted an Instagram update for the series. In his post, the 41-year-old actor came out with shocking news that the character of Joyce Byers played by Winona Ryder will return to play a downright fuzzier, louder, and feistier role, reports People.

However, the actor was just joking about the return of Joyce in "Stranger Things" Season 2, as he posed with his precious Pomeranian pup in the Instagram picture. He even captioned the photograph as "Bittersweet season 2 spoiler. Joyce has been recast for Season 2."

'Stranger Things' Season 2 Star Cast News And Updates

According to Refinery29, there are some major updates related to the introduction of new characters for the upcoming season. Paul Reiser will be playing the role of a new mysterious doctor. The plot will also include some issues related to PTSD for Will (Noah Schnapp). Sean Astin will also have an important role in the upcoming season.

Interestingly, Joyce will reportedly have a new love interest. Of course, the new romance will be for the person and not for the pup. According to the co-creator of "Stranger Things" Season 2 Matt Duffer, Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Nancy (Natalia Dyer) will join hands to cover up the losses of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Barb (Shannon Purser).

"Stranger Things" Season 2 will air on Halloween. However, fans who miss the show can still get in tune with the sci-fi Netflix series by watching its season 1.
