Stars of "This is Us," Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia have assured fans that they will eventually fall in love with Miguel's character. Get to know what fans can expect from Miguel in the show.

"This is Us" Stars Feel Miguel Will Be A Positive Character

There are high hopes that Miguel (Jon Huertas) will be a redeemed personality in the next season. Moore, who portrays the character of Rebecca Pearson in the series, shared that viewers will start liking Miguel either in season 2 or by the third season.

Moreover, she assured viewers that her character will not have an affair with Miguel, as long as Jack is alive. Even Ventimiglia, who is seen in the role of Jack Pearson, said that it will not be long before audiences start viewing Huerta's character favorably.

The actor mentioned: "Your heart beats for him.....People just need to remember, that he's Jack's best friend, he's close to Jack and Rebecca, and Jack has passed. Life goes on."

On the other hand, Dan Fogelman, showrunner, and creator told Variety that there is a challenge for the writers to ensure that fans approve Miguel and Rebecca's relationship. Moreover, Fogelman added that viewers should give Miguel a second chance, as Huertas is an extremely talented actor.

Some "This is Us" Fans Believe That Miguel Is A Negative Character

Miguel is not only Jack's best friend, but he is also close to Rebecca. However, at present, he is the husband of Rebecca in the show. Miguel was earlier married to Shelly (Wynn Everett), but they got divorced.

He married Rebecca after Jack's death. In the Pearson family, Kevin (Justin Hartley) is not too fond of Miguel.

Meanwhile, Huertas hinted that "This is Us" is yet to present many unknown aspects of Miguel's personality. The actor told The Hollywood Reporter that he is fine with viewers doubting his character.

The actor further said that he is eager to let the viewers know a different side of Miguel. "This is Us" Season 1 is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, Mar. 14 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
